چکیده
According to GLOBOCAN, there were about 18 million new cases of cancer and 9.6 deaths from malignancies worldwide in 2018. Renal cell carcinoma is a malignant tumor characterized by the loss VHL gene, which leads increased angiogenesis. The potential immuno-oncology anti-angiogenic drugs has significantly improved outcomes for patients with metastatic renal carcinoma. phase III CheckMate 9ER study compared efficacy safety nivolumab plus cabozantinib versus sunitinib first-line treatment clear advantages over terms progression-free survival, overall objective response rate generally similar across subgroups based on IMDC risk, PD-L1 expression, presence or absence bone metastases. We present case report patient been therapy 12 months, partial achieved. Treatment was well tolerated; profile adverse events consistent that clinical study.

Metastatic Renal cell Carcinoma Presenting as a clear-cell Tumor in Tongue: A Case Report
Introduction: Metastatic lesions of the oral cavity are extremely rare, accounting for approximately 1% of all malignant oral tumors. The most common primary sources of metastatic tumors in the oral region are, from the most to the least common, the breast, lung, kidney, bone, and colon. Renal cell carcinoma accounts for nearly 3% of all adult malignancies. It usually metastasizes to the lungs,...
متن کاملNivolumab versus Cabozantinib: Comparing Overall Survival in Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma
Renal-cell carcinoma (RCC) affects over 330,000 new patients every year, of whom 1/3 present with metastatic RCC (mRCC) at diagnosis. Most mRCC patients treated with a first-line agent relapse within 1 year and need second-line therapy. The present study aims to compare overall survival (OS) between nivolumab and cabozantinib from two recent pivotal studies comparing, respectively, each one of ...
متن کاملCase report: A Metastatic Transitional Cell Carcinoma of the Ovary
Background: Transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) is a rare type of ovarian epithelial cancer. This type of ovarian cancer accounts for only 1% of superficial epithelial carcinomas. Ovarian cancer is a major clinical challenge in obstetrics and gynecology. The reason of this is the lack of specific symptoms for ovarian cancer before the recurrence and progression of the tumor, so many cases are not...
متن کاملImmunomodulatory Activity of Nivolumab in Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma.
PURPOSE Nivolumab, an anti-PD-1 immune checkpoint inhibitor, improved overall survival versus everolimus in a phase 3 trial of previously treated patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC). We investigated immunomodulatory activity of nivolumab in a hypothesis-generating prospective mRCC trial. EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN Nivolumab was administered intravenously every 3 weeks at 0.3, 2, or ...

Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is an aggressive malignancy which can metastasize to the bone. Long bones or the small bones of the limbs could be rarely the destinations for metastatic RCCs. We report two cases of metastatic RCC to the humerus bone with the initial presentation of pathological fracture. The pathologists must be aware of metastatic RCC to the arm and consider it in the differential ...
